A few years ago, and by a few I mean probably well over 25.  There was a night The Infamous JonnyNat and I were sitting around watching an old VHS my mom has made back in 1986 with that nights episodes of Miami Vice, Scarecrow and Mrs King, Hotel and the Movie “M*A*S*H”.  It was fantastic. Lori Petty getting smashed in the face with a Dildo? TV Gold.  On WROC Channel 8 here in Rochester

But the thing that interested us the most was that it recorded the whole show, including the TV Ads.  Granted both of us were 5 years old at the time the video was recorded.  But both of us have always been huge fans of old 80s stuff, so it was pretty damn awesome.

I’ve actually been working on this project for an extremely long time. Years. Literally.  With all the other things I have to do. I was only able to transfer maybe one commercial to digital every few days or even weeks at a time.  But this was a 5 hour tape, after, literally close to 2 years working on this, when I have time. I’m finally done.
